what kind of tool will completley shut off the main drain?

Hello, this 0155-0 Main Drain Test Mat (125-a) is to test an SVRS pump, it is used to cover the entire drain to shut down a pump that is SVRS, it will not shut off the main drain. There is a plumbing fix that you can shut off the main drain and have the plumbing go through the skimmer. If you don't have that option then you might want to research bypass options for shutting off drain.
