Hi Julie, The diverter assembly is not available as a replacement part.

What is the internal dimension for the 1 1/2 inch diverter valve? Is is a true 1 1/2?

The 1-1/2" inch is based on the plumbing pipe size being used, not an actual measurement. The I.D. measurement should be 1-7/8" o the valve.
