Part # 3295-218
Manufacturer Code 5000009
Dimensions 3" L x 1.15" W x 1.15" D
Alternate Part #'s 5000009
Amphenol plug used on many Maytronics Dolphin robotic cleaners (see list). Connects to the power supply and requires a 1.5mm x 50mm hex key or allen wrench for installation.
How do you replace the Amphenol plug, not the socket? There is the socket on the power supply and the Amphenol plug at the end of the cable. The one you are selling the 500009 looks like it comes apart and can be re wired. If not why would you sell it?
Reply
It does come apart, you need to grab the small edge under the threads & hold to untwist & pull apart so you have access to the pins. see images we added.
How do you install this plug?

Sorry I meant, how do you remove the old anphenol plug that is connected to the Dolphin (not the power supply). The 3min mark of your video is for the amphenol plug of the power supply. I need to remove the one that is connec ted to the Dolphin (the plug you use to plug into the power supply).

Hello, The top and bottom of the plug are threaded. Once you loosen them, you can easily disassemble the amphenol plug.

How do you remove the old amphenol plug? It seems like it’s one piece and doesn’t come apart like the new one.

Is there a wiring diagram for installing this on the power cord for the outlet?

Hi, John. Unfortunately, a wiring diagram is not available. You will have to see how the existing one is wired and go off of that.

I have the Nautilus Plus (99996403-PC Dolphin Nautilus Plus ) with a 2 pin connection. Can I use the 3 pin amphenol ? One of the pins got bent and I can't connect to my power supply unit now.

Hello Craig, I would advise calling Maytronics 1-888-DOLPHIN just to check if there is a 2 pin replacement.

Does this fit a Dolphin Diagnostic Advantage? The female port on the power supply shows two values. Our model uses the two pins rated at 400 VAC at 16 amps, the other two unused pins are rated at 250 V at 12 amps.

Yes, that will fit your diagnostic advantage cleaner.

My Maytronics Dolphin's Amphenol plug to the power pack has a black and a white wire connection. The vacuum started and then quit. I checked the plug and found that the set screws for the wires had corroded and that the black and white wires had frayed at their connection points and were shorting-out. I cleaned the plug and disentangled the wires but the unit is dead. Is there a fuse either in the unit or the power pack or is the motor fried forever?

Hello RJ, I would check Maytronics 1888-365-7446 and run a diagnostic just to make sure that the motor or power supply isn't compromised.

i found a broken wire on my Amphenol plug. i reatached it and still no work. i then checked the voltage at several locations and determined something more was wrong. i then ordered a new dolphin from Indypools. after ordering it i seen they had replacement parts for my old dolphin so i thought i would try a new plug. so easy to install and my old dolphin works great. i donated my old but still great working dolphin to a family member.

The plug replaced easily enough...I thought it was overpriced, but didn't have time to find it elsewhere. It came quickly enough, and I didn't have to pay shipping.

Pros: Quality part, easy once you know how to take apart
Cons: Lacking instructions, High price
Needed to contact manufacturer because the connector came fully assembled. Manufacturer was also surprised at price I paid - about 300% what they sell it for, normally a distributor charges about 200%
