Pros: easy to install
Cons: useless if you do not put it in the pool because it you are afraid it will go off in the middle of the night.
I bought this pool alarm as it was the only one I could find for above ground pools. I am very disappointed with it. First, the alarm has no off switch and will sound unless you hold the button until it beeps. The, you only have 5 seconds to put it in the pool or else it will go off. When it goes off, you need to hold the button for at least 8 seconds while its waking up everyone in your house as well as your neighbours before it turns off.
If you get it, and know of a storm coming with brisk winds, remove it from the pool otherwise you will need to go out in the rain(if it's raining) to shut it off.
