Will this product replace weekly pool brushing completely? In other words if I purchase this product, can I throw away my brush? Looking forward to your kind response. Thank you.

Hi, Mike. This cleaner will drastically reduce the time an effort of you manually brushing your pool. However, I would not recommend that you throw away your brush. You will have to brush the areas where the cleaner is unable to go in your pool like the steps and corners.

Are replacement parts readily available? (e.g., foam rollers, debris bag)

Hello, unfortunately at this time we do not carry parts for this unit.

How does the CX-1 compare with the discontinued Maytronics Dolphin Supreme M5 Liberty in terms of cleaning efficiency?

Hi. The Pool Blaster CX-1 cleaning efficiency is better than the and Maytronics Dolphin Supreme M5 Liberty because of the cleaning path and suction power.

Many thanks, Lennox, for the clarification. The Maytronics M5 ultra fine filter can capture and hold dead algae particles. With its more porous 4 micron filter, can the CX-1 do the same? Another question, please: Why is Water Tech restricting its sales of the CX-1 to only the United States?

Hi. The Pool Blaster CX-1 is also able to pick up fine particles like algae and sand. I'm not sure why this unit cannot be sold outside the USA.

I have been a long time customer, so I value your feedback. I have been thru several aquabots, current using the one that works on water propulsion as I hat the constant drive belt replacement usually required on the other aquabots. What sort of drive mechanism does this use, as I especially hate the cords constant entanglement .There are literally no reviews on this product....have they had any durability issues My pool is actually small, but I love the freedom the robots give Thanks!

Hi, Rob. This unit was recently released at the beginning of the 2018 season. This unit also uses a motor with the drive belts. WaterTech products are durable and dependable.
