1. Is this for just the one reel only?
2. Can it be used with an existing pole/tube or does it come with one?
3. Can one person (me, a woman) alone roll the cover in & out? If not, which reel would you recommend?

Hi Karen , The price is for (1) complete reel system with the tube. Once the cover is installed one person can roll and unroll the cover.

What is height of the center tube from the deck? Will it go under the diving board or wifi it need moved aside when the pool is in use? I have an 18' X 36' pool.

The height of the wheel is 20". From the deck to the center will be 10". The wheel stand is approximately 3/4". You will have to measure the height of the diving board to see if this reel will fit under the diving board. The 18' Wide Max SolarGuard Reel can handle 18' x 36" 14 mil solar cover maxium.

Do I have to drill holes in the reel to attach the straps?

You will not need to drill holes in the tube when you are attaching the straps. The reel includes the hardware with self drilling screws.
