I currently have a single speed 1HP and would like to replace it with a variable speed pump. My pool is 14,000 gallons and a 1HP would work fine however this Speck is 1.65HP and was wondering if it is not over rated for my application (I only have a sand filter s311sx). Also, I was wondering if parts are widely available for this pump? Last, the warranty states 2 years but unlike Hayward or Pentair it doesn't say anything about DIY vs pro installation, what is it?

Hello, yes the Speck Variable speed pump will match the gallon's per minute allowed on your s311sx. Parts are always available as Speck's factory is here in Florida. The warranty will be 2 years no matter who the end installer is.
