hi, ive just come across a new pool with old tools,
there system has what looks like a very old Zodiac Baracuda Pool Cleaner either a g2 or g3 but i have never seen this model shape in all my life as a pool cleaner.
the foot pad on it is only 5.5'(inch) where as all the others ive seen and repaird in the past are larger (8-8.5')
do you know the product? and the replacement foot part part number ?

Hi. This Generic Foot Pad will fit the Baracuda G-2, Baracuda / Zodiac G-3, and the Baracuda / Zodiac Alpha 3 and Alpha 3 Plus units. If you can provide pictures of your unit I can try to identify it.

Screwdriver, bread knife
We've had this vacuum for almost 5 years since our main drain developed a leak. We noticed that the vacuum wasn't working well and it quit when the foot pad wore out.
- removed old foot pad (fairly simple by twisting it off since it was loose/torn)
- putting new one on required more work since it's a very tight fit - used a combo of bread knife (use caution) and flat head screwdriver to get new one on
- also helps to have extra set of hands to hold one side on while slipping screwdriver under other side
- works like a charm again

Pros: sturdy
Cons: hard to attach
The product seemed like a heavier rubber/plastic than the original rubber part. It was difficult to attach as it was so stiff, but I got it on with a little struggle. I'm sure it will last the rest of the G-2s life. It was way cheaper at INYO than anywhere locally.
