I bought the house in December and it came with an above ground pool. After seeing various problems around the house, I became more and more nervous about the condition of the pool.
When I took the winter cover off, what I found was not a surprise. Several of the top caps were broken or missing. I consulted with the identify your pool forum here on Inyo and they led me down the right track to find the make and model. When I found out how old the pool was, I was discouraged, but lo and behold, Inyo had the parts I needed.
To replace them I had to remove what remained of any of the broken top caps then unscrew the top rails and then undo the 2 screws on the top bracket that the upright fastened to. I was then able to slide that bracket out of the way to replace the top cap clamp base which was held on by 2 screws.
I then reversed the process to put everything back together and then replaced the top cap with new parts as well. I did one at a time so as to not take a chance of the pool falling apart.
All in all the pool looks much better and I will be able to open it up this year as is. Next year will be a new liner.

When I opened the pool this season, i found several of these pieces broken. I went to the store where I bought the pool and they no longer sold oyster bay pools. They said they had no parts. So I googled the piece I needed and found them on INYO POOLS. I ordered them and had them three days later! Now my pool is safe and looks like it did when it was new! Thanks!
