This is the replacement Salt Cell for the Crystal Pure 3.0 (PL7708) Salt System 20,000 Gallons manufactured from June, 2016 to present. This replacement salt cell is designed for pools up to 20,000 gallons. This is the 5,000 Hr. replacement salt cell and comes with a 1 Year Warranty
have the following questions.
My check salt light and inspect cell light are lit continuously. If I turn the system off and turn it back on the lights will stay off for an hour or so then come back on. Is there some type of reset?
I removed the cell to clean it and it is clean.
When I replaced the cell (it is mounted vertical with the main wire at the top. Can’t remember if there’s a righ or wrong way to mount it. (can it be mounted vertically with the wire at the top?

If the check salt and inspect cell light is on, please have the water tested to verify the actual salinity level in the water vs. what the board confirms. The salt cell should be clean every 90-days, please see How To Clean Cell It does not matter the direction of the cell. You may contact our office for more in-depth troubleshooting if needed.
