Pureline Crystal Pure Max Salt System
The Crystal Pure Max Salt System converts ordinary salt water to chlorine eliminating the need to purchase and handle chlorine. The chlorine which is produced is softer than traditional chlorine meaning a more enjoyable swimming experience for you and your family.
One of the top features of the Crystal Pure Max is its built-in salt meter which provides very accurate salt readings. Other salt systems base their salt readings off of temperature variations which can be inaccurate and can cause false system shut-offs.

What is the difference between this and the PL7700
Reply
Hi. The design of the systems are different. The Crystal Pure Max system has all controls and functionality built-in to the cell with an external Power Center and the Crystal Pure PL7700 system has all the functionality and display in the controller with a separate cell and flow switch.

Any idea how much power (amps) this unit draws at full load? I didn't see that noted in the pdf manual. I'm trying to get an idea of what my electrical needs will be for my pool panel.
Thanks!

The amperage draw fo these do vary so we suggest having a 15 amp dedicated breaker for these systems.

Too bad it's not being made anymore, truly a great alternative to chlorine. I will always use a salt cell in replacement for chlorine. Only thing is that you need to upgrade your seals on your pump to prevent the salt corrosion.
