Can I use a beaded liner with this pool? I have one that I already purchased.

If the beaded liner you have is a 54" liner you can use it but you will need a bead receiver. If the liner is shorter than 54", you will not be able to use it.

Good afternoon,All of our above ground pools are too large to ship normal ground via UPS or FedEx and therefore must ship via a freight company. The freight company delivers the unit to the front of your drive way of your home.

We live on a tidal creek and our yard is slightly flooded (3-4 inches) with salt water on King Tides. Would this Matrix pool hold up to that?
 Reply

A  Answered on 11/1/2016 by InyoPools Product Specialist Adam Y.

Good morning Frank, Although the pool is resin it still sits in tracks that are made of metal. The walls, Liner and top will hold up because they will not be exposed. When installing an above ground pool the most important part is having it level with sand and built up sides for liner. If your area is affected by tides my worries would be on the infrastructure. My only advise for you would be to build up the area higher than the 3-4 inches of tide. That way the foundation would be level and the railings would not be exposed to salt water.

I am being told here in NJ that a pools warranty is voided by the salt water system, is this true?
 Reply

A  Answered on 6/25/2018 by InyoPools Product Specialist Hector F.

For some swimming pool yes this is true, so be sure that the model that you have or decide to go with is saltwater compatible, then the warranty will not be voided.

The site I would like to use for my pool is a concrete pad. What special coniterations will I need to think about?
 Reply

A  Answered on 7/22/2018 by InyoPools Product Specialist Lennox H.

Hi, Cornelia. The manufacturer does not recommend that their pools be installed on a concrete pad. The reason being is that rain water can wash away the sand base and/or cove and cause problems and most concrete used has chemicals in it which can accelerate the corrosion process on all the metal that would touch the concrete (bottom plates, bottom rails, etc…).

Does the resin top-rail scratch easily? My old pool had an aluminium top rail - I could easily remove toys, an aluminium floating lounger, and pool stairs without worrying about denting or scratching the top rail. I do worry that the resin top being a softer material may show wear and tear more quickly. Should I be concerned?
 Reply

A  Answered on 10/10/2018 by InyoPools Product Specialist Hector F.

The resin above ground pool parts, in general, are a better quality material and will not have paint scratch off as the metal ones do. In general, if you can go with a resin part it is a much better decision.
