I am replacing an existing main drain cover and this one has the correct diameter measurement of 7-7/8". But I need to know the center to center measurements for the screw holes.

Thank you for the great question. The center-to-center measurement for this Main Cover screw holes is 6".

Does this cover have VGB compliant marked on the top? My inspector is adamant that I need one of these covers and I want to make sure he can see that I am up to code.

Yes, this cover does have the VGB label on it top and its service date for when you would need to replace it.

my installer says I need a whole new main drain including a sump. Does this product come with the sump?

No, this product does not come with the sump. If you need a new main drain with the cover, frame and sump included in this style you should review the following pages WG1051PAK2, WG1052AVPAK2, WG1053AVPAK2, or WG1054AVPAK2.

I am replacing a suction outlet cover in my pool. The cover came with screws but the holes for the screws to go into on the outlet frame are too big.Do you know if i can buy threaded grommets to put into the holes so the screws will tighten. My pool supplier said the frame should have come with grommets in the plastic frame. I must have covers on top of the suction outlet with a screwed down cover to be compliant with section 1404 of the Virginia Graeme Backer ACT.

Hi, John. The frame does have brass grommets to accept the screws.

I wanted to replace my drain covers. Looks to be an 8" cover with screw holes 7 1/2 inches apart. Any recommendations?

Greg, the Frame & Cover 7 7/8" 2 Pack - WHITE - WG1030AVPAK2 would be the closest to the 7-1/2" from screw hole to screw hole.

Hi, Les. You can use the Paramount SDX Retrofit Main Drain Cover Vinyl or Concrete as a replacement.

The Suction Cover, Hayward WG1030, 8" Round, w/Frame, Wht, Qty 2should be correct as there are no suctions that are listed at 7-7/8", the 7" center to center should also be correct although the mfg does not publish that spec.
