For a color-changing LED light, how do I switch between the different settings with just a standard light switch?

The LED lights are designed to move to the next programmed setting each time you turn the switch on and off.  This will toggle through the different color settings and shows.

My Jandy pool light has stopped working properly. It is dim and rapidly cycles through all the colors instead of going to the color i choose. Do you think it is the bulb or the entire fixture? Before this happened, the blue light was sort of green. Then I left the light on for several days, in the splash mode, meaning it was changing colors, now it is dim and rapidly cycling through all the colors. Thanks! Kelly

Hi, Kelly. You can either replace the Light Engine PCB, 120V Large LED Light W/ Light Shaping Diverger - R0474100 and the Silicone Lens Gasket - R0451100 which will resolve the issue that you're having with the light and prevent you from having to run a new fixture cable through the conduit. The second option will be to replace the entire fixture.

What is the diameter of the power cable? I'm trying to determine what size conduit is needed -with space to pull 75' through it

Hi, J Baker. The cable is 3/4".

Do you still have the (2) CPHVLEDS100 pool lights?

My fixture is less than 2 years old and has quit working. Are these units repairable or if they stop working they have to be replaced? My pool company sent a tech out and recommended replacement. The other 2 fixtures are operating fine.

Hi Chris, Unfortunately, if your Jandy WaterColors goes bad then you do have to replace the entire fixture, with the fixture on this page. This is why I like the PureLine PureColors LED Light Fixtures which work as a replacement for the Jandy Water Colors. The great thing about the PureColors is if the bulb ever goes bad then the bulb is replaceable by doing an easy bulb swap at $150, unlike the WaterColors where you have to replace the entire fixture which is quite a labor-intensive and costly at $1,000 if the board goes bad. If you have multiple lights in your pool and/or spa then they will all need to be PureColors if you would like them to be on the same color rotation.

Do I understand it correctly, You cannot change a bulb with the Jandy Watercolors LED light fixture. You have to replace whole fixture?. we are new to having a pool and both of our pool lights went out recently. Our spa light is still working.

Hi Steve, yes that is correct however if you can locate the niche model then you can use the J & J Colorsplash LED light fixture. The niche model should be marked on the niche itself. Please see this datasheet to view the compatible Jandy niche models as well.

I have a Jandy CPLVLED100 and the fixture comes on for a few seconds and then goes dim. Is it the board or do I need to change the whole fixture? Please advise.

Hello Dan, you would need to replace the complete unit. We would recommend the Color Splash XG Series LED Pool Fixture 120V - 100' - Polished - LPL-F2C-120-100-P.
