Is it possible to operate the K70405 under a solar cover?
Do I have to remove the ladder so it will not hang up on it?

It is possible to run the Kreepy Krauly under your solar cover most of your hose should be under water. The cover may move a bit if you have to hook into your pool skimmer, but I know people have used the cleaner with their cover on. The ladder also should not get in the way. Give it a try, if it does get in the way then remove the ladder.

I have a Kreepy Krauly for in-ground pool- 1997. There is a skimmer plate that has broken. Do I need to replace that item, or can I just install the power regulator directly into the skimmer?
