For a color-changing LED light, how do I switch between the different settings with just a standard light switch?

The LED lights are designed to move to the next programmed setting each time you turn the switch on and off. This will toggle through the different color settings and shows.

What is the difference between the older version Intellibrite and the newer 5g version?

Hi, TJ Pool. If you're using an Off/On Switch, turn the switch off and on eleven (11) successive times.

The Intellibrite 5g 12v 50' Color LED Pool Light - 601011 will hardwire to the current light on/off switch. When you power it on/off it will change from one of the 5 predetermined fixed colors to match or create the mood for the evening – blue, green, magenta, white, and red or select from 7 popular pre-programmed "light shows". This light is for 12Volts only, if you have 120V you will need to add one of the Intermatic 300 Watt Transformer - PX300
