For a color-changing LED light, how do I switch between the different settings with just a standard light switch?

The LED lights are designed to move to the next programmed setting each time you turn the switch on and off. This will toggle through the different color settings and shows.

Can you confirm the Pentair Intellibrate 5G color LED pool light (601012) will work with my current Intermatic PX300 low voltage transformer?

Yes, that transformer will work with your pool light.

Will this fit in the same niche as a Jandy CPHVLED100 WATER COLORS LED?

Hi. Yes, this Intellibrite 5g - 601012 will fit into the same niche as the Jandy CPHVLED100. This light will require a Pool Light Transformer.

Can anyone comment on the longevity of the Intellibrite 5g 12v 100' Color LED Pool Light - 601012? The reviews on Amazon are TERRIBLE for this fixture. Apparently it doesn't last long and is difficult, at best, to get it replaced under warranty.
A lot of money for something with a short lifespan. My wife says we don't need a pool light that badly...I agree.
Thanks.

On average, these lights can last approximately 50k hours however you can always consider looking into the Purecolors light series as well.

Hi, I am looking at replacing the old 1980's lights in my pool. I currently have two Purex VN50 niches (label says use with lighting fixture model no's 100-3, 100-5, 300, 301) fitted with Purex lights (300w 12v lamps). Can I replace the lamps with the Intellibrite 5g 12v color Led pool light or am I restricted to the Amerlite 300W white light?

Hi Sam, yes the older Purex series pool lights can be replaced with the Pentair Intellibrite series.

According to my pool builder, my light is a Pentair Intellibrite and the part # is AMP-30-2002. The pool was built in 2006. I'm the original owner. I have 2 lights that changes color but one is just really dim and not changing color.
Do you have this model? Also do you have it available in longer than 100 foot cord?
