I need parts for my filter valve. When I look at the filter parts breakdown, it gives me different choices. How do I know which one is the one I need?

In order to locate the correct parts we will need to know the model number of the filter valve. Two identical filters can have two different valves. Typically the valve model will be located on the label of the valve. If there is no model number on the valve, you can try to see if there are any part numbers on the valve itself. Hello Jim - You are correct. Part number 18201-0200 Multiport  will work on your System 3 Sand Filter . Please check here for a  complete parts breakdown of this filter. The valve you are looking for is 3rd from the bottom on the list. Thank you

Is this model compatible with the Sta-rite DE filter? My current multipart valve selector is a Sta-rite 2 inch union model 18201-0200 with a max working pressure of 50 psi and max flow rate of 95 gpm.

Hi David, Yes this valve is compatible with many Sta-rite DE filters & Sta-Rite Sand Filters and would be the direct replacement for your 18201-0200 valve.

Hi, Dennis. You can use this 2 Inch Multiport Valve - 182010200 with the S7D75 filter.

Hi Connie, for the Sta-Rite System 3 DE Filter model S8D110 there are two multiport valve options. The 4685A and the 4716-0.

No, your Pentair Triton II Fiberglass Sand Filter would need a valve like this Multiport Valve Kit 2" Threaded Port - SM2-PP3 for 2" plumbing.
