I need parts for my filter valve. When I look at the filter parts breakdown, it gives me different choices. How do I know which one is the one I need?

In order to locate the correct parts we will need to know the model number of the filter valve. Two identical filters can have two different valves. Typically the valve model will be located on the label of the valve. If there is no model number on the valve, you can try to see if there are any part numbers on the valve itself. Once you've located you valve model you can check out our >Filter Valve Parts.

I want to order the Sta-rite multiport valve WC112-148. Is it for a 1 1/2" tubing?
 Reply

Hello Dennis - The WC112-148 is no longer available. It has been replaced by the Pentair 261186 (4600-1186). This valve is designed for 1-1/2" pvc piping.

Will this valve work on my sta-rite sand filter, T180 WF-H
 Reply

A  Answered on 5/27/2015 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

Hi Michael when you order this valve you will receive the 261186 valve as the WC112-148 was discontinued and replaced by the 261186. The 261186 valve will work on your T180 WF-H Sta-Rite Waterford filter however the ports on the valve are not in the exact same location so some re-plumbing is required.

Piggybacking off Michael's question below do you just need male adapters if your hoses have female ends?

Kevin, Yes you'll need the Sta-Rite Male Adapter 1-1/2 MPT (11201-0002) and S.S. Hose Clamp 1 5/16 To 2in (276-28) to attach the hoses to the valve.

I have a 200 lb. sand filter. Looking for replacement top valve. Model # T-210WF-H. Was installed in 2008. What can be used? Thanks!

A  Answered on 6/14/2016 by InyoPools Product Specialist Patrick P.

The WC112-148 is the valve that was included with the T-210WF-H sand filter although this valve was discontinued by the manufacturer. The replacement for this valve is the Pentair 261186 (4600-1186) which has a slightly different port configuration meaning that you may have re-plumbing if you are using rigid PVC pipe.

I have a T210WF Sta-Rite filter and I need a new label for the valve positioning. Mine is worn off and I can not read what each position on the filter is for anymore. Would you have this available without having to buy a new valve?

Hi, Steve. Unfortunately, the valve decal is not available. You will have to replace the Cover Assy - 77704-0104 or the complete valve.

Just ordered the wc112-148 (wc119-87) clamp assembly for this valve. Current valve has two clamps that screw together. Will this one fit or should I cancel the order?

As long as the valve matches your current filter model or exact valve model then it will be a compatible replacement.
