Will the internal thread on this fitting accept a 1 1/2" NPT pipe nipple? I want to install a valve for ease of cleaning. I had one on my last Sta Rite filter so I know its possible with the right fitting.

What is the part number for the O-Ring ? I just purchased it and was surprised to see it didn't come with an O-Ring.

I have a sta rite filter and I replaced the adapter fitting and plug and it is still leaking any suggestion on what it could be?

Unfortunately no, since the Adapter Fitting (24900-0509) is used in 3 different plastic filter bodies we would have to assume you may have an issue with your tank body.

Are you sure you used the correct "O" rings the one closest to tank is 35505-1424 the plug is 27001-0022 and the "O" ring for the plug is 35505-1424
