How do I know when these wheel bearings, Hayward part number AXV055P, have gone bad?

The wheel bearings have gone bad if you ever see small ball bearings in your pool, pump basket or filter. The cleaner will stop moving if the turbine bearings fall apart.

Hello Barb - These turbine bearings will work in the Hayward Aquadroid, Elite, Aquabug, Pool Vac Classic, Pool Vac, Navigator, Pool Vac Ultra, Diver Dave, Wanda Wha;e, Navigator Pro, and Pool Vac XL. If your cleaner is not listed, these are not the correct bearings.

Will replacement bearings for the main rotor of my Arneson pool-vac also fit the A frame? Or can the bearings for the A-frame be bought separately without dismantling the whole frame?

Hi Peter, The turbine bearings can not be used for the A-Frame and the A-Frame bearings are not sold separately. You will have to replace the entire A-Frame Kit (AXV621D).

Do these bearing come with the clips that hold them in place? If not, where does one get them?

Are these for a 1 hp. hayward super pump

No, these are bearings for a Hayward pool cleaner. A 1HP Super Pump motor would require two 6203 motor bearings.
