Yes this is the correct clamp for the model DE3620 filter. The older 3600 model Hayward D.E. filter clamps are obsolete.

Unfortunately no. The clamp assemblys for the Micro Clears are obsolete. The newer ones are for the newer Hayward D.E. Pro Grid models.

I have a Hayward C4000. It leaks around clamp. Trying to tighten bolt, broke bolt and leaks worse now. Is there a replacement clamp and how do I stop leak as well?

These clamps are obsolete with no replacement. You might have some luck with a local retailer with one sitting in their inventory. You would need this replaced if it is damaged to help secure that leak. Potentially the o-ring as well.

Scott,If you have the Hayward Micro Clear DE4800 then unfortunately that particular clamp assembly is obsolete. DEX2421JKit fits the newer Pro Grid models.

I have a Hayward DE3620 installed in 2002 and the clamp that holds the top of the filter to the bottom (old steel w/ bolt and spring) is broken. Hayward stopped making these and I want to make sure the DEX2420JKIT will fit the older filter. My local pool store says no, you have to buy a new filter. What do you say?

This is correct. That older design is obsolete and there unfortunately is no replacement for that clamp assembly.

I have a Hayward Pro-Grid DE 4820. It has the old style clamp ring with the bolt built in and a spring. I see answers saying this clamp will fit Pro-Grids but not Micro clears. Mine may have been bought before 2008. Will this fit my pro-grid if it uses the spring style clamp?

Hello Dennis, this clamp only goes to Hayward Pro Grid Perm-A-Glass DE, Hayward SwimClear Cartridge Filter C2020, 2025, 3020, 3025, 4020, 4025, 5020, 5025, 5520, Hayward Commercial HCF, Hayward SwimClear C2030, C3030, C4030, C5030, C7030. If you have any other than these model, then the clamp will not work.

Hello Kirk-\The Blue Haven 450 and 550 is the same filter as the Hayward Super Star Clear. Unfortunately, the band and spring assembly are no longer available. Hayward discontinued those parts several years ago. Hayward has advised us that the only option is to replace the entire filter.

Hi Sandra, unfortunately for this particular model filter the bolts assembly is not sold separately. You would need to get this entire clamp assembly unless you are able to locate the nut and bolt used from somewhere.

I have a SwimClear Filter, either C2020 or C3020, about 20 years old. The T-Bolt on the clamp assembly (DEX2420J) is seriously stripped. I don't know if I can just replace the T-Bolt as it looks like I would have to bend the clamp assembly and might damage its integrity to do so. Is this possible and can it be done? Hello Jack, unfortunately there is no longer a compatible filter clamp for the Hayward Micro Clear filter series. You would either have to try and locate a used one from a local pool business or replace the entire filter. The Hayward Pro Grid D.E. filter series now replaces that older series.
