Hi Virginia, this is speaking of the pipe size which is going into your pump. If you look at the pipes going into the pump there should be computerized writing on the pipe which says 1-1/2" or 2". The vast majority of Super Pump Housings are 1-1/2".

I have a Hayward Model EC-65 System pool filter, in ground pool. I need this housing strainer, SP-2600 series The pump discharge elbow is SP-1485-B. Do you think that this well fit my filter ?? Thank You, Diane

Hello Rob, the 5110-07A part number is a correct replacement for the housing of a Hayward Super Pump SERIES 1600, 1600X, 2600, 2600X MODELS. The 5110-07A housing is for 1 1/2" pvc pipe.

We will be ordering the 2" version of this, having looked at the pvc labels outside, however our old Hayward Super Pump plastic strainer lid had 4 turn knobs to hold it in place, rather than the 2 turn knobs and the other 2 being hinge points, as I'm seeing everywhere now. That means we will also need the actual lid that fits. Do you also sell that and if so, what is the part number that will go with the 2" housing, please?
Hi, KBlackwell. Unfortunately, the pump you have is NOT a Hayward Super Pump, it a WMC / PPC AT Series Pumps. This Housing, Strainer Super Pump 1 1/2" - SPX1600AA will NOT fit.

Hello Howard. The correct Strainer Housing for Hayward pool pump model 3wsp2610x15 is part number SPX1600AA. This strainer housing has 1.5" ports. If you have 2" plumbing the correct replacement is part number SPX1620AA. Hayward Super Pump Strainer Housing 2" Ports (spx1620aa)

Our pump is a model SP2603VSP. Our motor is a Century C48L2N134C1, 1.5hp ,3450 RPM motor. Not variable speed. Is it compatible with this pump housing? Is there a special impeller or diffuser for this housing. It was replaced because the old one had a pinhole leak. Took the motor from the old housing and bolted it onto this one. It filters but not as much suction at the scuppers as I would like. Small floating items float past the scupper opening being just a couple of inches from the opening.
Hello Ricky. The Century Motors model C48L2N134C1 (UST1152) is compatible with the pump housing from the Hayward Super Pump VS model SP2603VSP. There is only a drop of 0.15 total horsepower between the two motors. A side-by-side comparison of parts between the single speed Super Pump and the variable speed Super Pump reveals that many of the parts are identical. The impellers are interchangeable but the diffuser has a different part number. Attached are exploded parts diagrams for each pump variation. Your reference to scupper suction: do the scuppers gravity drain to a pit or are they directly connected to the pump intake?
