Housing front has a small split that is dripping ,is there a repair of sealant that can seal this or other options . thanks for your response.

Good afternoon. I have not heard of any type of sealant that will do a permanent fix. There is just too much pressure and any epoxy or resin just can not stand up to it.

What is the difference in Pentair 355468 and 355302 pump housings?

Kevin,Part #355302 is a threaded front housing, while part # 355468 is the slip suction version to the same housing.

Pack Fab pump housing 35-5459 is replaced by 355468 per what I see in the Q & A. So this housing has a slip connection but the diagram shows it attached to the strainer with four bolts an an "O" ring seal. Therefor I am assuming that there is no piping needed to make the connection between these two parts. Is that correct? Thanks Jim

Hi, Jim. That is correct, this housing will mount to the strainer using bolts. The threaded description refers to the internal port if you're not using a strainer.
