Hi Stu, This is the correct Lid O-ring for the Hayward C-1750 filter.

The last time I got the O ring from a pool store it was to thin and not tight enough to seal. What is the thickness on this O ring? If it does not work will I be able to send it back?

Lou, The o-ring is approx. a 1/4" thick. You can return the o-ring in new unused condition within 30 days.
