is this a "11/4 head and does it fit a skimmer for a 20x40 pool?

The Skimmer Vac Plate Opt 1 (62088) can adapt to either 1-1/4" or 1-1/2" hose, It depends on the size and model skimmer you have.

Hey guys,
If you have a 28000E skimmer, the vac plate that will work is made by Hayward. Part # is SP1107. In order to make this part work, you will need a pvc union 1-1/2.
