These are not the same valve for the 39000302 is a 5 position and the 39262803R is a 7 position model.

I have an older Jacuzzi sand filter model 225L...is this the replacement part I would need?

Hi Gary, The DV5 Bolt-on Valve Kit (39000302) can work with your old Jacuzzi Sand Filter model 225L.

Hi Fred, No this is not the correct kit you, you would need the Jacuzzi 7 Way Diverter as a replacement for your 39263009.

Hi, Brian. This particular valve is no longer available which has been replaced by p/n 39262803R. This valve will fit the Jacuzzi Laser 225 Sand Filter that uses a bolt-on valve.

Is the valve 39 000 302 R a replacement for 39 000 302 ? Does 39 000 302 R fit a Jacuzzi 250L-7 sand filter?

Yes this is the proper valve replacement for a 39 000 302 valve being used on a Jacuzzi 250L-7 sand filter

This style valve will not fit, you will need the Carvin 7-Pos Valve Bolt-On - 39262803R as the replacement.

Hello Tracy.  The Jacuzzi Valve Dv5 39000302 is NOT the replacement for the Jacuzzi Valve 39263105.  The Jacuzzi DVK-7C, Clamp Type 39263020K is the correct replacement.   DVK-7C Valve, Clamp Type - 39263020K

Hi, when I move the handle of the DV7 to another position (f.i. backwash or drain) water seeps out through the top. What do I need to do to stop it from leaking? And: when I backwash I see grains of sand in the looking glass. What does that mean?

A small amount of sand in the sight glass is normal (as in a "pinch"), but a large amount can signal a problem.  If you are getting a large amount of sand, check that the standpipe in the filter is not cracked and is seated well.   Check that your spider gasket is intact as well.  If it is leaking when you move the handle then your gaskets are worn out.  I would recommend starting with this Diverter Repair Kit DV 6/7 - 39251509K if you do have the DV7 valve.  It might fix all of your troubles with it.  Your laterals might be broken if the filter is returning sand into the pool during normal operation.
