I cannot get anyone to answer my question on the phone. I have two of these diverter valves installed in my UV system for my koi pond. I sent photos of my system last night after I spoke with someone at your company so they could see the configuration and tell me how to use the valves and got no response. I don't have any idea how to use or set them and cannot find a manual on their use. I really need someone to help me!!!!

Good Afternoon Alice, Our CSR Scott responded to your e-mail asking how we could help you in response to your pictures. After looking at your pictures myself, they are too far away to determine how the valves should be set. As I explained on the phone to you last night, this is something that is very hard to do without being there, which is why I would recommend calling a pool technician to come out and take a look at your system.

where is the part number located so I may identify which valve I have?

It will be somewhere on the outside of the valve, otherwise there might be a part number on the diverter inside of the valve.

Is this equivalent to the Hayward PSV3S2?
 Reply

Hi Howard.  They are similar since they are both 3-way valves, but the PSV Valve 3 Way - PSV3S2 has connections for  2" - 2 1/2" slip (glued) connections and the Valve, 3 Way Pvc, (263037) has connections for 1-1/2" and 2" slip connections.  They are also different brands.

Hello Christopher.   The Pentair Pool Products OEM 3 Way Valves are CPVC part numbers  Pentair 3-way Diverter Valve 2" x 3" CPVC (263056)   Pentair 3-way Diverter Valve 2" x 2-1/2" CPVC (263026)   Pentair 3-way Diverter Valve 1.5" x 2" CPVC (263035)   The main difference between CPVC and PVC is the temperature range each is capable of withstanding.  CPVC can handle temperatures up to 200 degrees F, PVC can handle temperatures up to 140 degrees F.    The 3 Way Valve 6649-19 is not OEM Pentair Pool Products.
