How does this fit into the weir box housing?

Nelson, In the base of the skimmer housing, there's two holes on either side that the tabs of the weir snaps into.

How do I get the old weir out?

Hi Pat, You will have to squeeze the tabs on the locking tab to release the weir from the skimmer housing.

THE TABS BROKE OFF AND ARE STILL IN THE HOLES. I'M UNABLE TO REMOVE THEM. HOW CAN THE REPLACEMENT BE INSTALLED?

Hi Juan, The only option you have is to use the Hayward/Seablue Weir.

My pool is missing the weir therefor I can't measure it. Is there another way to find out what model number skimmer I have? I'm pretty sure it's a Hayward because there is an "H" under the cover.

Hi, typically on the underside of the skimmer lid there is a model number that identifies the entire skimmer. From there we can locate the correct weir gate part. The "H" would denote you have a Hayward skimmer.

Hi, I wondered if you carry just the piece of hard foam that fits into Hayward skimmer part sp1082k4. I don't need to replace the whole piece, just the foam. Thanks!

Hi Julie, I'm sorry we do not carry just the foam, only the foam and the weir.

we have a really old haywood skimmer must be at least 30 years old unfortunately door flap just broken we have made a temporary repair but hoping the SPX 10821K spare part will fit. Our door flap had the number 80 171 (probably too old to find registered anywhere!) on the back and measured 7 3/4 ins wide x 5 3/4 tall..more concerned whether the lugs would fit?.....Pool always been well maintained but we are looking for a quick replacement part repair . Thankyou Avril

Hi, Based on those dimensions this SPX1082K should fit. However, to confirm locate the Lid Part # so that we can locate the correct replacement weir.

I need to replace my weir door, pretty sure it is Hayward but unknown part number. Opening approximately 7 1/2" width and height 6". There are 2 bolts approximately 5" apart. Attached photos - any suggestions? Thank-you!

Hi Richard, Could see if you can pull any part numbers off of the skimmer lid or skimmer basket? The part numbers should be embossed into the plastic you can simply reply back to this email with that information.

This persons description and picture match mine. Mine is a Hayward SP 1070 B. 7 1/2” long by 6” tall. What will fit it? The compression weirs I’ve tried, all cone off when the kids get the water rocking.

The numbers on the weir door are 51-6222. It is a Pentair but the skimmer lid reads Paddock, the name of the pool builder. There is no model number but says the flow rating is 10-55 GPM
