If I need just the 2" Tail Pieces (and two of them) - do I need this, something else, and 2 of them?
Missed getting the nuts on before the pieces got glued...

I need a replacement union for my Aquarite T Cell 15. Looking online in your site, I find a "GLX-Cell Union" (part # 2807-22) that appears correct except that my pool is plumbed with 1 1/2" PVC instead of 2". Will this part work if I get a PVC slip-in adapter from Lowe's to bring it down to a 1 1/2" pipe? Or- is there a union that will fit the T Cell 15 that will also fit a 1 1/2" pipe system?

Hi, Lance. There is not a 1-1/2" union available, you will have to use a reducer.

Our pipes are 1.5. We have the pureline cell. We need new union pieces. Does the 2 in union work with the 1.5 pipes?

Is this the correct part to mate with my T-9 cell? How do I go about removing the old fitting?
Hello Lori. The Pureline 2" Union, Nut and Tail Pierce, part number 2807-22, is the correct union fitting for the Hayward Salt Cell. Referencing the photo provided: for installation: Remove the Flow Switch from the Flow Switch Tee. Cut the pipe exactly at the end of the Flow Switch Tee opposite the Salt Cell Union. Remove the nut from the end of the salt cell and discard that piping. Install a new Flow Switch Tee onto the pipe end just created. The Tee slip fitting requires a min 1 1/4" of straight pipe. That length appears available based on the photo. Install a small length of pipe (schedule 40 PVC) in the opposite end of the Tee, then the new union. Careful measurements and pre-glue assembly will ensure the correct fit. Flow Switch Tee - GLX-FLO-T
