According to WaterTech, the gen 2 charger charges the cleaner faster.

Hi, This charger can work with the Volt FX-4 but not sure if it will work with the Volt FX-8. You will have to contact WaterTech at (800) 298-8800 to find out or to get the correct one.

Hi. This charger will work with the Pool Blaster Max Vacuum. The PBA007 number is for the battery pack.

I have a pool blaster by water tech, vacuum that came with charger product # LC099-2S. Have only had the vacuum less than 1year, and the charge isn’t lasting long, but the charger seems be have a problem, I can’t get the red light to stay on when it’s plugged in, if I jiggle the cord, it will go on for a second, then off. The vacuum battery is completely dead, still.
