I need parts for my filter valve. When I look at the filter parts breakdown, it gives me different choices. How do I know which one is the one I need?

In order to locate the correct parts we will need to know the model number of the filter valve. Two identical filters can have two different valves. Typically the valve model will be located on the label of the valve. If there is no model number on the valve, you can try to see if there are any part numbers on the valve itself. Once you've located you valve model you can check out our >Filter Valve Parts.

I have a Crystal Water/Aqua Clean DE filter P/N 570-060 and the existing multiport valve is Model SM20-1. However, it looks just like this multiport valve. Is this the same part?

Hi Jerry, yes this would be the proper replacement valve for your Crystal Water/Aqua Clean DE filter P/N 570-060

Not sure if I need the WVD001 or WVD002. Couldn't find a picture with FPT.

The only difference is where the ports on the valve from the pump, if those have internal threads then you need the WVD001 and the pipe just slips in then you will need the WVD002.

I have a Pentair 27-1141 ( I think this is the model #) multi port valve. Will this one work for me?

Could you send us a few photos of your filter to include the filter label which shows the model # of your filter? Also are there any #'s on the valve which start with SM or PP? To supply photos or additional model number information simply click the reply link below and upload your photos. Once we get those photos we can make the proper recommendation.
