Does this pool cleaner have to be hooked up to the skimmer??? Or does it clean on its own?

Hi Phillip, No this pool cleaner does not get hooked up to the skimmer. It plugs into a standard 115V outlet, the power supply has a transformer so only 24V low voltage is going to the cleaner.

What about a 30’ round? Will it handle that?

You may run into issues where the normal pattern doesn't hit the farthest side. If that is the case, you could drop the cleaner in the spot that it missed and start it there.

Does this robot have a cable cord ? I have a Pool Rover Junior and the cord is always tangling up in the pool, my biggest problem. Do you have other robots with cable cords ?

Is this suitable for a 27 foot round above above ground pool with a 7 foot deep part on one side? Slope down to 7 feel starts about the middle of the pool.

Hi Anthony, We reached out to the manufacturer on this and they stated "there should be no problem at all with sloped edges. The vertical walls are where it will start to climb and fall off of."

Can this be used with an 18x33 above ground pool? Is it possible to reset it to the areas that it misses.

Hello Bruce. The general answer to your question is, yes, the Maytronics Dolphin E10 will work in a pool that measures 18'x33'. The 39' cord length may be problematic if the Power Supply is not strategically placed so as to provide enough cable length to reach each end of the pool. It can be dropped back into the pool at the conclusion of the cleaning cycle to direct it to any pool surface not covered. Maytronics recommends the Dolphin model E20 or E30 as a more appropriate cleaner based on the pool dimensions provided. Maytronics Dolphin Pool Cleaners

Can the E10 be used in a small Inground gunite pool or is it only for above ground vinyl pool?

Please check that this length is sufficient for your needs. The Dolphin E10 is a Floor Only Robotic Cleaner. It does not climb walls.
