will this product slip over a 1 1/2 OD copper pipe and accept a 1 1/2 schedule 40 pvc pipe. I am relocating a sink drain and need to tap into the copper with a tee

Okay, the 1.5" Copper to PVC Adapter - 21098-150-000 would allow you to connect a 1-1/2" copper pipe to 1-1/2" schedule 40 PVC pipe.
