Does the 12 volt Color Splash bulb come with a transformer?

The light  does not come with a transformer, it would need to be purchased separately. You can view the transformers we offer here.

Hi, The Color Splash LED 3G Pool Lamp, 12V can work with the Hayward Duralite SP-571 fixture. You will also need to replace the Duralite Lens Gasket (SPX540Z2).

will this bulb work in a Hayward AstroLite SP-583L with a 500W 115V bulb? SP-607 DuraNiche. if not, which color splash bulb will?

Hi Tom,The Color Splash Bulb (LPLP1RGB120) is correct bulb that is compatible with the Hayward Astrolite SP583L 115-volt fixture. We also recommend that you replace the Hayward Astrolite Lens Gasket (SPX0580Z2).

Yes, the color splash will fit your StarLite fixture. Make sure you replace the len gasket as well when replacing the bulb, part number 3550-03.

I just recently bought a LPL-P1-RGB-12 Color Splash Pool Light which is being shipped. Will it work in a 120volt application ?

No, a 12V bulb will not work in a 120V light fixture, you will blow your light. If you want a 12V bulb you need to replace the entire light fixture to 12V and add a transformer for the conversion.

Hi. Confirm that you're getting the proper voltage at the bulb. If you are, the bulb has failed and will need to be replaced.
