I have 2G lights in my pool and want to put a 3G light in my spa. Will the 2G and 3G versions synchronize with one another?

According to the manufacturer, the 2G and 3G versions will not synchronize with one another. To have the lights on the same color rotation, you would need to have the same version in both your pool and spa.

The G3 uses newer technology which gives you brighter light output than the G2, also the older technology on the G2 let's you see individual rays of light where the new technology on the G3 has a much smoother light output. For a color-changing LED light, how do I switch between the different settings with just a standard light switch?

The LED lights are designed to move to the next programmed setting each time you turn the switch on and off. This will toggle through the different color settings and shows.

No issues with installing this with a DC transformer between this and the light correct? Basically to use with 12v light.

The XG Controller must be wired to a 120V circuit only. For low voltage 12V lights, the XG Controller must be wired to the 120V supply then to the Transformer.

Will this be adversely affected if there are other outlets or lights on this circuit? Can it handle the same current as a regular light switch?

I have a color splash LXG series light installed for my pool that is controlled by a light switch ( on /off cycles for each mode ) for changing the colors. Is it possible control the color changes with this unit ?

Hi James, According to the operation manual that can be found here: Operation Manual, it states: The ColorSplash® XG Controller will work with the following J&J Electronics products ONLY: ColorSplash® LXG Series Pool and Spa Lamps, ColorSplash® XG Series Pool and Spa Fixtures, and ColorSplash® Fountain Lighting Fixtures.As long as you have the LXG series bulbs and the correct voltage, this will work for your application.
