How can we install the leaf cover? Is it effective in Quebec province where we have some cold winters?

Hello Denis, there is cover accessories such as 8ft. tubes, etc.  Our Economy SILVER Leaf Net is made of a durable material that incorporates a 4 ft. overlap to provide many seasons of use, along with a winch and cabling to secure your net over the winter cover.

Is the cover a mesh and allow the rain through?

This is a very porous leaf net and will allow rain water to pass through as well as small debris. We also have a line of Mesh Safety Covers available. These covers will allow rain to pass through as well.

Can the leaf net be used without a winter cover?

Yes, they can. They will keep larger debris such as larger leaves and twigs from getting into the swimming pool. Fine dirt or debris may still pass through.

Hi Herbert, Yes we would suggest the 16' x 36' Leaf Cover to accommodate your stairs. Here you may view or purchase the 16' x 36' Leaf Cover This 16' x 36' cover is due into stock this upcoming week so if you purchased now I would estimate approximately 7-10 business days for delivery.

Most often these covers are either secured by using water tubes or by tying off the cover from the grommets.
