I need to know wattage ratings for both the pool and spa versions of the 12V PureLine LED lights. I need to size the transformer. Please advise.

Hi Brad the Pool Bulb is 35 Watts and the Spa Bulb is 5 Watts.

Does this "kit" require an additional Niche to install in a new construction pool? If so, do you have a part number?

Hi. Yes, a large Pentair Gunite Plastic Niche or Pentair Stainless Steel Niche is required for the installation of this kit.

Hi, Melissa. You can start by locating the model of your existing fixture and or the niche. You can also get the dimensions of the niche. If you have an older niche, you may need to purchase the CMP Light Repair Adapter or the Universal Light Ring Adapters to make it work.

New pool construction. Is there a platic niche that can fit this? I notice you recommend the pentair stainless steel niche, it has been recommended I go plastic. Hayward Niche? Also what else would I need to go with this?

We have an old Anthony pools pool light niche with a stripped screw tab. Do you have an adapter ring so I can fit this light fixture in my niche?

We have an AquaLink control system; currently using Jandy lights. I'd like to replace them with LEDs. Will the AquaLink system be able to directly control these PureColor lights? Or will we have to do the on/off/on/off sequence to do any light changing?

OK, thanks. Next question - the lights we are replacing are the old Jandy Colors lights (the ones with like 10 or so small bulbs in it). Will this PureColors light be able to fit in the same housing?

This will not fit the Anthony light niche, we would suggest a Swimquip Light Fixture along with a PureColors SwimQuip LED Color Changing Bulb and this should fit into your old Anthony light niche.

I currently have a fiberglass pool with 2 Savi Melody 100 color changing LED lights that don't work. I was wondering if the PureColors LED Bulb & Pentair Amerlite Pool Fixture will fit/work as replacements? I have a low voltage transformer. I like the idea of replacing the bulb instead of the whole thing as I am dealing with now. My pool is small-12'x26".I liked how the 2 lights interacted to change colors in a show. Would 1 of these lights have a similar affect if I can use them? Thank you!

Hi, Ulises. This PL5822 fixture will NOT work as a replacement. However, you can use the Hayward Astrolite Fixture and then purchase the PureColors LED Bulb. FYI, a 12 volt light requires a Transformer.
