Hi, Dave. This pump can be used as a replacement based on the Total Dynamic Head (TDH) and the desired flow rate. The Stealth Pump is a higher-performing pump.

i have a Hayward Max-Flo SP2302VSP. Cannot get the control box to work correctly to get certain speeds. Can that be fixed or time to replace? If so what do you recommend don't think i will go with variable speed again this pump lasted 2 1/2 years.

Hi, David. Issues with the controller cannot be repaired, the drive will have to be replaced. You can replace it with a single speed pump if prohibited in your state. If it is, you can replace it with the ECM16SQU variable speed motor.

Hi, Ed. I would not recommend it because this pump can move twice as much water than the PL2601 Prime pump. The Prime - PL2601 is still available.
