How To Test Pool Cyanuric Acid (Stabilizer)

Pool Care Basics

In this video, we take a look at how to test pool cyanuric acid. Cyanuric acid (CYA) is a key component to keeping your pool crystal clear and algae-free. If your CYA is too low, all the free chlorine in your pool will be burnt up by the sun’s powerful UV rays. On the other hand, if your CYA is too high, your free chlorine will become less effective.
