In this guide, we explain how to test the salt level of a pool using test strips. The salt level readings from the salt chlorine generator will not always be accurate. Testing the salt level yourself will ensure that you don't mistakenly add too much or too little salt.
Note: We used the Aquachek Salt Test Strips. The directions may be different if using other brands.
