My pool is a 12,000 Gal regular chlorinated pool, that simply is controlled by dial timer for a Pentair InterFlow pump, and I want to convert it into a saltwater pool.
Will this Jandy salt chlorinator hook up and work with my pump, or is equipped with a flow sensor that regulates the production of chlorine based on the detected flow?
Is the generic pureline jandy replacement is as good as the name branded jandy
I have a 16,000 gallon pool and my aquapure seems to have gone bad, model R0452400. Does the PLC700 work as a replacement or the PLC1400? I have cleaned it and still error it out and producing zero chlorine. I am concerned as well as my swg has three connectors and these replacements on,y have two, is that an issue?
on the generic jandy cell ,do the ends all screw on as if the 700 cell?and is the wiring the same as the 700?i just replaced my cell and wiring when i saw this .if i need it again i would go for this if it setsup..thanks
Hi, RB. This cell is a drop-in replacement for the OEM cell. The unions and wiring of the OEM cell will be the same

My Jandy salt cell #R478900 needs replacement, which part do I need? My pool is 11,000 gals.
Hi Kurt, Could you take a photo of your salt cell as well as your power supply and send to us? To send the photos simply reply to this email or send to email@example.com this will help us determine the proper replacement salt cell for you.
Can a novice change out the old cell and put in the new one?
I just need the cord that plugs into the chlorinator. Is it possible to get just this part?
I am replacing a clormatic III cmc 700 (Jandy) Chlorinater that is 12' in total length. I don't have any additional room - what is the length of the purlink 7-blade cell kit?
Jim - The total length of the PLC700 with unions is 16-5/8". According to the PLC700 Owner's manual the the pipe cutout required is 13-7/8".
Is the salt included with the salt chlorine generator?
No, salt is not included. You would purchase the salt locally and the quantity will depend upon the number of gallons of water in your pool. Use a salt that is at least 99.8% pure NaCl. The preferred salt is evaporated, granulated, food quality, and NON-iodized. Avoid using salt with anti-caking agents like sodium ferrocyanide, also known as yellow YPS (prussiate of soda). These cause some discoloration of fittings and pool surface finishes. DO NOT use calcium chloride.

very easy, uncouple the cell from the PVC pipes(just screw off) then take computer box front off unplug the wires from the old salt cell(old one might have green wire and a black and white one together)new one has just 2( a red and a blue one).the red goes on the "green" plug in and blue goes where the black and white ones went . close up box and the new one has a small read out screen inline with the grey wires that you put in the box.just read the direction for getting correct program (a or B) put new cell in, screw in tight (dont over do it)turn the system on and let it run a cycle .your good to go.
