What are the depths of the steps of this pool? By this I mean what is the distance from the front of the step to the back of the step.

The top step on the NE1085 measures 13" deep and the other two steps are 8" deep each.

How or what do I use to weigh down the steps so they will not float?

To weigh the NE1085 steps down, you will need 70 lbs. of sand. You can see how to add the sand in the owner's manual.

Pros: inexpensive and easy to assemble.
Cons: none yet.
Ordered the stairs on Monday received them Friday, could not be better service. Manual easy to use. Took me less than 3 hours to assemble which includes 45 min going to store to get sand. Started at 6:00 AM and had the stairs being dropped in the pool at 8:50.

Cons: floats around the pool
This is a piece of garbage. It is impossible to keep this item from floating. I hope no one else buys this unit.
