Part PL0113. Does this part replace a 9 year old Hayward part noted as C-875
Hi Bruce, Yes Part PL0113 does replace a 9-year-old Hayward part # C-875 This would be the correct replacement cartridge.
I have a Hayward filter which requires 4 filters. Filter casing says to use either CX875RE or CX1380RE and I don't know which to order. The Hayward filter says on the housing that it is serial # 2487 and 330D32.
Your best bet will be to measure your cartridges. The CX875RE measures 25-1/2" Long and the CX1380RE will measure 32-7/8" long. We do carry both of these cartridges on our website in both the OEM and a Generic and I have listed links to each of these products below: CX875RE OEM http://www.inyopools.com/Products/07501352015358.htm CX875RE Generic http://www.inyopools.com/Products/00100000010677.htm CX1380RE OEM http://www.inyopools.com/Products/02200001004497.htm CX1380RE Generic http://www.inyopools.com/Products/06400001004498.htm

I removed the filter top, removed the top piece and removed the four filter cartridges. I installed the new cartridges, added the goop to the rubber O-ring and re-installed the top. Saved a ton of money getting the generic filters from INYO Pools!

I got the generic filter cartridges and saved around $400! I did the work myself which saved another expensive service call to the pool place. These cartridges look just like the original ones that came with the pool. Want to save a ton of money? Get the generic filter cartridges from INYO Pools!
