This heavy-duty discharge hose is contructed of a high-grade transparent blue PVC and lies flat for easy roll up when not in use. Plug your backwash hose into your filter and set it on backwash. Roll out your backwash hose and send the water and waste out the hose. The backwash hose is available in 50' and 100' lengths. Make sure you are purchasing the proper length of backwash hose for your swimming pool needs.

I've read a lot of bad reviews on these type of hoses that are too thin and burst easy. This item shows no reviews. Do you guarantee this to last a few years if used properly.

Hi Bill, The 1-1/2" - 100 Ft Backwash Hose is not backed by any warranty because it's a wear item but if maintained and stored properly it can last.

Heavy duty - I have a feeling this one will last many seasons but I suppose time will tell (Prior hoses I have had develop pinhole leaks).

It was basically simple to unclamp the old and reclamp the new hose. It works like a charm! I highly recommend!
