Pool Pump Strainer for 12728/12729/12730
Will this fit my Everbilt 1 hp pool pump? I am looking to replace my strainer because it is leaking.
Ren, in order to suggest replacement parts for this pump we will need to know the specific model number of the pump. Can you please provide that information?
Will it fit the SPLAPOOL 72728? I'm assuming it will, since you have already stated it will fit the 72729 & 72730. But I want to be sure before spending the money.
Dan, Yes this will fit the SPLAPOOL 72728.
I have a pump that I can't find much info on.
One model number says JH115VNSGG and the other says motor model number RS4G242I3L. Will this part work?
Hi, Kyle. Yes, this Pump Strainer Housing the will fit your model pump which is a Blue Wave Tidal Wave Pump.
I have a blue title wave dual pump and the model number is RS4G2413L what's strainer housing will I need
This PO12728SH Strainer Housing would be the correct Strainer Housing for the Blue Wave Tidal Wave 2 Speed Pump.
This is what I need, but how do I remove it and reinstall new part
Hi. To remove the housing from the old pump you will have to remove the Pump Cover, remove the Basket and the Pull the Housing Clamp/Clip which will allow the housing to separate from the pump. Reverse the steps for the installation.
This piece has or looks to be loose from the rest will it being loose cause it to suck in air while running n how do I tighten it back up? I can see the screws on the inside but not sure how to get this piece tightened back up. Thanks

Upon starting my above ground pump i noticed a large pool forming under the filtration unit. I inspected closely and found a large crack in the bottom of the strainer housing.
After shutting off the pump and blocking the gravity siphon, i removed the housing release clip, and slowly pulled the housing off it's mount and pipe.
I then proceeded to order the replacement part on Inyopools.com and then reinstalled the new part upon delivery, thus solving my issue.
