Our PureLine rugged mesh cover makes spring clean-up a snap. The secret to this unique cover is the tightly woven scrim that holds together insuring that no gaps or holes develop. Rugged mesh allows only rain water and very fine silt to pass through. Since the cover is made of mesh that is very lightweight, simply lift it off in the spring. No heavy water to lift off or time-consuming cover pumping. Simply remove the mesh cover, vacuum up the fine silt and open your pool.
The fine mesh allows rain and snow to slowly fill your pool, saving water and chemicals in the spring. Since our scrim is tightly woven, the cover allows almost no sunlight through and ensures an algae-free pool in the spring. Arctic PureLine mesh covers are made from tough U.V. protected woven polyethylene that is strong enough to handle ice, snow, sleet and high winds. Rugged double stitched seams are triple reinforced for strength and the cover's black underside slows algae growth. All PureLine mesh covers have a 3' overlap, include a cable and winch tightener and are backed by an 8-year warranty.

I have a 27 foot round above ground and want a. Say cover. I don't see one for that size pool. Can I use the cover for a 28 foot pool?

Hello, Yes you would be able to use this cover. you will just have a larger overlap about 5' instead of the 4'. which you can adjust with the cable and winch tightener.

I can see benefits to using the mesh winter cover. What are some of the negatives that the convention solid cover is more preferred?

Hi Steve the biggest negative is that in the spring there is more clean up as some of soot from the leaves makes the water dirty in the spring.

Cover only good for 1 year as it ripped due to the strong winds in upstate NewYork. Purchased extra large to ensure cover went well below rim of pool trying to ensure wind could not get up under edge of cover to no avail.

Cover is easier to install because you don't work against water weight that can be scooped up by a solid cover. And no air pillows. We'll see how much fine dirt penetrates the mesh over the winter, though. Initially the package didn't have the cable and winch, but Inyo quickly sent it after I emailed them.
