Our rugged mesh cover makes spring clean-up a snap. The secret to this unique cover is the tightly woven scrim that holds together insuring that no gaps or holes develop. Rugged mesh allows only rain water and very fine silt to pass through. Since the cover is made of mesh that is very lightweight, simply lift it off in the spring. No heavy water to lift off or time consuming cover pumping. Simply remove rugged mesh, vacuum up the fine silt and open your pool.
Rugged mesh's fine mesh allows rain and snow to slowly fill your pool, saving water and chemicals in the spring. Since our scrim is so tightly woven, the cover allows almost no sunlight through and ensures an algae-free pool in the spring. Arctic Armor's rugged mesh covers are made from tough U.V. protected woven polyethylene that is strong enough to handle ice, snow, sleet and high winds. Rugged double stitched hems are triple reinforced for strength and the cover's black underside retards algae growth. All Arctic Armor rugged mesh covers have a 4' overlap and includes a cable and winch tightener. Backed by an 8 year warranty.

how much water do you have to remove and do we need a air pillow for this cover

Hi Brent, You would have to lower the pool below the returns and skimmer and an air pillow would be recommended.

Pros: light weight and easy to put on

I got tired of the vinyl covers and pillows that would move and the cover would slip so I decided to try a mesh cover. So far I love it! It was easy to put on and drape down the inside of the pool. We didn't have to struggle to get it over the pillows. This sits nicely on top of the water and the rain has just gone through. I am hoping it stays in place when it's windy.
