Diatomaceous earth filter media for use in D.E. filters.
Is this product for a sand filter? Having trouble with construction next door. Mud keeps getting in pool from heavy rains. Have vacuumed on waste but still have dirty water. Will this clean my sand? I think I am recirculating dirt by into pool.

Hi Sherron,This would be DE powder only for DE filters. You would NOT want to put this in your sand filter. Add a clarifying coagulant and vacuum to backwash you should see better results. Also add water while you're vacuuming as you will lose water.
