Can I use the steps in a inground pool?
Reply
Hi. This step can not be used with in-ground pools only above ground pools. You will have to use the I/G Grand Entrance Step - NE1085 for an in-ground application. Unfortunately, we no longer carry these however you may be able to locate them with another retailer.

Considering using as outside steps to enter a swim spa. Any issue using them this way?

Hi. This step can be used inside or outside of a pool. If you're using it with another step for inside the pool, you will have to use a compatible step.

My deck sits higher up. How come there is not company that can make a ladder step like this that can reach my 64 inch deck and I can attach the steps to it. Or would it be ok just to run it up to it and sand down the steps enough to where they can just sit in pool.? Do they really need to be secured to the deck? Or how about an optional piece that I can attach to the front beam of my deck? It is a wide board that goes all the way the front part of my deck?

Hi, ZS. A parts list page is not currently available for this item, however, if you can let me know the description of the parts you need shown on page 3 of the Easy Step Installation Guide I can provide you with the part numbers.

How far apart are the steeps my pool size is 18x48 will this ladder work for me how long does it take to get it
Reply
Hello Thelma- The steps are 10" apart, these will work for your size pool. We currently have them in stock, so it would take about 5-7 business days to arrive. Keep in mind this is meant to attach to a deck, if you don't have a deck you would want to get the Easy Pool Step w/ outside ladder - NE126.

After installation, how do you remove the stairs from the pool for winter storage?
Reply
Hi Mary, This will be a two person job and someone will need to get into the pool. You pretty much do the opposite of the NE113 Installation Instructions until you get to a point where the steps are freed from the pool.
Reply
i see your instructions say to use a funnel to pour sand in to top step. i saw a large gallon size sand weighted container while shopping the pool store. is there a open shelf on one of the steps underside to set 2 on. this would be easier.
Reply
Unfortunately, there is not a shelf to set a container of sand on under these steps.

Just installed the NE113 pool step. It is too high.
Can we remove the E Base at the bottom to make it lower?
Also how important is it to lubricate the poles? Thanks
Reply
Hi Freida, The Base acts as support for the step so that it would not tilt, I would not recommend not installing the steps without the base. Lubricating the pole will help with the installation.

Hi I believe these are the steps we have, we just had our liner replaced and the steps won't stay down now. We have the sand in them and water as well. any suggestions what we can do to keep them from floating up. I would much appreciate any suggestions you have. thanks so much
Reply
Sandy, You can replace the water with sand to see if that will work. This Easy Pool Step system requires 40lbs of sand to properly weigh it down.
Reply
Do you sell a rubber Mat that would go be rant a in pool stair system ? I probably need a 48" X 36" mat
Reply
Hi Mike, We do carry a 42" x 60" Pool Step Pad here, which should work for you.
Reply
Hi, can I fill the steps with any kind of sand? Thanks!
Reply
Hello Katie, the manufacture does not list a specific type of sand needed for the installation. I would suggest #20 Silica because it is the same type used in sand filters.
Reply
does the ladder need to be bolted to concrete
Reply
No, if you go with this pool step with the outside ladder attachment then the ladder is not bolted down to concrete.
Reply
Will the steps work for an inground pool?
Reply
Amanda, Not these would not work on an inground pool as typically an inground pool has a wall height of 42" and these steps are designed for an above ground pool's wall height of 48" - 54". This means that if you put these steps on an inground pool then the top step would rise above your pool deck. We do carry an Inground Pool Step which designed specifically for inground pools.

We have the blue wave easy steps. We also bought the easy step weight system for them. The steps Do Not stay down, but float forward. What can we do to get them to go flat?
Thank you!

Ann, You can solve your problem by adding more weights.

I need steps to get in and out of a pond. Would you sell these without the handrails and for how much? Thank you

Hello - This comes from the manufacture with the hand rails in the set. We are simply a on-line retailer and get the items straight from them. I checked their site, and a few others, and all come with handrails.
Reply
Are the handrails for step system NE113 offered as a replacement part or sold by separately?
Reply
Do you have to use sand with the East Pool Step in order for it to stay down in the water? Or can you use some kind of weight to hold it down?
Reply
In order for step to sit properly, it must be weighted in place using approximately 40 lbs of sand. To weight step, place funnel in opening of side panel on top step that is now inside pool. Pour 20 lbs of sand into each side of the step.
Reply
I have the Easy Pool Step and need to replace the hand rails. Do you sell just the hand rails?
Reply
Yes, we do sell the replacement handrails for the East Pool Step on our website.
Reply
Can the Easy Pool Step be used on the exterior of a pool as well? I need steps inside and outside of an above ground pool.
Reply
The NE113 does not have this option however the Easy Pool Step Entry System w/ Gate has both the inside and outside step.

(5 out of 5 stars) Great steps for the price.

Pros: Price - addition to pool
Cons: Need 2-3 people to install them
These steps are great! However, I was almost done putting them together and in the instructions it said I needed a step mat and sand. I was a little irritated and had to wait a few days for the things I needed to arrive. Also, you need at least TWO people to install them. I did them alone and it was horrible because they float while you're trying to put the sand in so it was quite comical to view me trying to lay on the stepes to hold them down while I put in 1/2 cup of sand at a time. LOL Once all of that was done I am truly enjoying them.

(3 out of 5 stars) These steps are ok.

These are very nice looking steps. The steps are strong and sturdy and easy to put together. The hand rails on the other hand are kind of flimsy and pull apart very easily. The steps are hard to keep from floating off the bottom of the pool.I have four milk jugs with stone anchoring them down and they still float around slightly.I guess they will get the job done for me ,however I do wish i bought something of better quality now.

Pros: Easy to put together
Cons: make sure you purchase Filtered sand and a matt for the bottom of the pool
These steps were easy to install, the step by step instructions were great, if only took me about 20 minutes to put the steps together. I added the filtered sand in the steps, before I put the steps in the pool which again was easy. The steps slide right in, looks great as well,
